<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a hollow fiber type filter, which is enhanced in the pressure-resistance rigidity of sealing between the end of a casing body and ends of lid members. <P>SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the hollow fiber type filter comprises: a step of connecting the ends of a pair of the lid members 10 to both ends of the casing body 20 which fixes the hollow fiber bundle 30 to at least one end opening of a cylinder 22 for the casing body by using a first sealing part 24 composed of a first sealant so as to have a dissected opening end face of the hollow fiber bundle 30; and a step of introducing a second sealant while making it go along internal faces of the lid members 10 from fluid lead-out inlets 12 formed at the lid members 10 while rotating the second sealant with the center shaft of the casing body 20 as a center.
