<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water heating vessel which maintains a function of quickly discharging steam upon boiling, while reducing discharge of hot water as much as possible upon upsetting. <P>SOLUTION: The water heating vessel has: a heating vessel; a heating source; a stopcock body 70 attached to an aperture part of the heating vessel; a tab 68 provided vertically; and a pourer provided on the opposite of the tab. The stopcock body includes: a ring packing 89 attached to the periphery for sealing the aperture part; a valve member 90 for interconnecting or cutting off between the inside and outside of the heating vessel; and a hollow chamber 77 communicating with a temperature sensing member via a steam path in which a steam port is provided on the tab side. In this stopcock structure of the water heating vessel, the steam port is opened on the tab side in a lower part of the stopcock body, a water cut-off member 82 is provided between the hollow chamber and the steam path, steam inside the heating vessel is sent to the temperature sensing member via the steam port and the hollow chamber, and when the heating vessel is upset and the tab is on the lower side, the water cut-off member closes the steam path. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
