CARRIAGE FOR DRAWER SLIDE ASSEMBLY

A carriage for a drawer slide assembly having a base and a pair of flanges extending from the pair of side walls from the front end to the rear end. A plurality of apertures is disposed on each flange of the pair of flanges and at the first and second sides of the base. A cylindrical bearing is disposed in each aperture of each plurality of apertures, wherein each bearing is lubricious and made of a nylon material. A spacer disc is disposed in the pair of flanges, such that only the bearings and the spacer discs contact surrounding surfaces during use of the carriage. Friction-reducing ribs may also be provided, and axially-extending living hinges may facilitate carriage assembly.
