The flow pump has a housing (14) and a pump wheel (10) that is rotationally driven within a pump chamber of the housing, where one or more guide vanes (20) are rotated not with the pump wheel and are upstream to the pump chamber in the flow direction. The guide vanes of the pump wheel are arranged in directly adjacent manner. The guide vanes are arranged on a low pressure side (12) of the pump chamber.
