<p>This latch device is provided with: a sliding body that has a cam groove and that is disposed in a case; a spring member that biases the sliding body in the direction of protrusion from the case; an engagement body that is supported pivotably at the sliding body and that can switch between a locking state that protrudes a tip-side claw from within the sliding body, thus locking an engaged/released member, and a locking disengagement state that withdraws the tip-side claw into the sliding body; and a tracing member. When moved against the biasing force of the spring member, the sliding body is locked at the post-movement position via the cam groove and the tracing member, and the engagement body is switched from the locking disengagement state to the locking state. The latch device has a leaf spring that, in the locked state of the engagement body locking the engaged/released member, stores biasing force as resistance against the oscillation of the engagement body when oscillating in the direction of locking disengagement by means of pulling force in the direction of withdrawal of the engaged/released member, and switches the engagement body again to the locked state by means of the biasing force stored when withdrawing the engaged/released member.</p> |
