<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an epidural needle puncture system in which an epidural needle can be reliably inserted into an epidural space and held therein. <P>SOLUTION: The epidural needle 10 includes: a needle body 11 having a through-hole formed therein; a needle base 12 at which the needle body 11 is fixed; and a holding body 14 removably retained at the needle base 12.
