<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a design system which allows a designer to freely combine structural members while checking through visual observation of the arrangement and efficiently calculate structural performance of a model. <P>SOLUTION: A design system 1 comprises a modeling part 2 which models a frame 100 and a display part 8 which displays a three-dimensional image of the frame 100 modeled by the modeling part 2. The modeling part 2 models the frame 100, using structural members associated with identification information and shape information stored in a first storage part 4. The design system 1 is provided with a structural calculation part 3 which performs structural calculation of the frame 100 modeled by the modeling part 2. The structural calculation part 3 performs structural calculation through acquisition of structural calculation information of the structural members from a second storage part 6 on the basis of the identification information associated with the structural members composing the frame 100. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
