<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the handleability of a rechargeable battery pack mainly when attaching/detaching or the like to/from a body in order to solve such a problem that handling of the same is troublesome and the troublesome handling is liable to cause loss of a lid for covering a battery housing part in a small and light-weight handy cleaner to be used while being held in one hand which is configured such that the rechargeable one is conventionally built in the cleaner body and opening/closing of the lid is required when attaching/detaching the battery pack to/from the cleaner body. <P>SOLUTION: A handy cleaner is configured such that a battery pack 20 is formed into a cartridge type instead of a built-in type to be mounted to the body 11 while being entirely or partially exposed.
