<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ground improvement method for composite ground that eliminates leakage of contaminating substance to a ground surface by confining the contaminating substance included in a contaminated liquefied ground layer in the contaminated liquefied ground layer for ground improvement of the composite ground comprising both the contaminated liquefied ground layer and a non-contaminated non-liquefied ground layer. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided the ground improvement method for composite ground that includes: preparing an improvement sand pile 11 which is increased in diameter and tempered by discharging a sand-based permeable material 10 into the ground in a contaminated liquefied ground layer B; preparing a consolidated pile 21 by a predetermined height by discharging a cement-based consolidation material 20 into the ground above the liquefied ground layer B where the improvement sand pile 11 is made; and blocking an upper side of the improvement sand pile 11 made in the liquefied ground layer B with the consolidated pile 21. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
