<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing device capable of easily performing power saving. <P>SOLUTION: According to one embodiment, storage means stores power saving setting information that includes at least a single setting item relating to an operation of the information processing device influencing on electric energy that the information processing device consumes. Setting means sets a value of at least the single setting item according to a user's operation. Operation control means controls the operation of the information processing device on the basis of the setting value of at least the single setting item.
