<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pedal device capable of surely preventing foreign matter such as toes from being inserted into a gap between a pedal case and a pedal body. <P>SOLUTION: In the pedal device, a rear end portion of a pedal body 2 is rotatably mounted in a vertical direction in a pedal case 1 in a state that a tip 2a of the pedal body 2 projects to the outside from the inside of the pedal case 1. A foreign matter insertion prevention portion 17 is provided to prevent insertion of foreign matter during a pedal operation of the pedal body 2 at a portion at which the pedal body 2 projects to the outside from the inside of the pedal case 1 and which corresponds to the gap generated between the pedal case 1 and the pedal body 2. Accordingly, even if the gap is generated between the pedal case 1 and the pedal body 2 when performing a pedal operation on the tip 2a of the pedal body 2, foreign matter such as the toes can be surely prevented from being inserted into the gap generated between the pedal case 1 and the pedal body 2 by the foreign matter insertion prevention section 17. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
