<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laterally suspended tray which is configured so that the installation height can be changed according to the height of an article to be stored to allow efficient and flexible storage of articles in a drawer without a dead space, and a tall article can be stored on the whole bottom surface of the drawer or the like including a part under the tray to prevent inconvenient storage or obstruction of storing operation due to a difference in height of articles. <P>SOLUTION: The tray is set on a pair of parallel support portions 2 of a drawer 1 in a laterally suspended state by hanging it over the support portions 2 of the drawer 1. The tray includes a mounting device 3 having a hook portion 4 hung over each support portion 2, the mounting device being detachably provided at various heights by being inserted into a pair of front and rear opposed plates 5 disposed between the pair of parallel support portions 2 along the lateral width direction of the drawer 1.
