SHADING DEVICE, IMAGE READER, AND SHADING CORRECTION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shading device of low cost and space saving, capable of reductions in the price and size of a scanner or an eraser.

SOLUTION: The shading device includes a shading member that passes through a conveyance path for conveying a recording medium to a plurality of image reading sections and reaches the plurality of image reading sections, and a moving member for moving the shading device between the plurality of image reading sections and a retreat position of the outside of the conveyance path.
