A mobile terminal is provided to enable a client to obtain/use a gift certificate conveniently simply by authenticating the client, and loading/using the gift certificate with a gift certificate processing module embedded in the mobile terminal of the client, and enable a gift certificate provider to utilize client authentication information as an effective CRM(Customer Relationship Management) tool. An IC chip(845) stores gift certificate storage information. A gift certificate agent processes inquiry and use of the gift certificate storage information stored in the IC chip, and includes a function for transferring gift certificate data included in the gift certificate storage information to a second mobile terminal. The gift certificate storage information includes a gift certificate module component file(501) and a gift certificate data component file(502). The gift certificate module component file includes gift certificate information or data, and program code or information for processing the gift certificate information or data. The gift certificate data component file includes gift certificate operation information for operating the gift certificate information or data, and value information of the gift certificate. |
