A garment (10) with an adjustable waistband (30) and modesty flap (60) includes a garment material having a waistband (30) that originates and terminates at a closable seam (50), the seam having opposed edges (52) extending downwardly from the waistband (30) that define a V-shaped open configuration when the edges (52) are spaced apart from one another and a closed configuration when the edges (52) are adjacent one another. A waistband extension member (40) extends from a waistband terminal end (38). A plurality of waistband fasteners (44) are spaced apart along a waistband outer surface (34), each waistband fastener (44) having a configuration complementary a waistband coupling member (42) for selective attachment thereto. A modesty flap (60) is attached to the garment (10) generally adjacent one seam opposed edge (52) and configured to extend across the seam open configuration. A plurality of flap fasteners (72) are spaced apart along the waistband inner surface (32), each flap fastener (72) having a configuration complementary to a flap coupling member (70) for selective attachment thereto. |
