The injector (1) has a control chamber (16) opened opposite to a stroke-adjustable nozzle needle (10) and staying in connection at a high pressure side. A control valve (24) is in connection to the control chamber at a low pressure side and adjusted over an actuator (30). A sensor system (36) i.e. measuring strip arrangement, detects voltage-conditional alterations resulting from pressurization in the high pressure side. The sensor system is arranged to measure voltages and/or deformations at an injector body (2) resulting from control chamber pressure in the control chamber.
