An active material coating apparatus is provided to prevent active materials from being hardened by restraining the moisture from penetrating into the active material by a gas supply unit installed at a joint portion of active material transfer pipes. An active material coating apparatus is composed of: a storage container(22) storing active materials(21); a spraying member(25) for spraying the active material transferred from the storage container, on a current collector(24); an active material transfer pipe(27) installed between the storage container and the spraying member; and a gas supply unit(30) for feeding the dry gas to a joint portion where the transfer pipes are connected. The gas supply unit comprises cover members(31,32) covering the joint portion; a blower(34) supplying the dry gas to the cover member; and a blowing pipe(35) connecting the cover member and the blower. |
