MOUNTING METHOD OF STRAIN GAUGES TO MEASURE THREE DIMENSIONAL LOADS AT TIP OF A HOLLOW CYLINDER A mounting method of strain gauges to measure three dimensional loads at tip of a hollow cylinder is disclosed. A first set of strain gauges are mounted along one of the designated parameter. Likewise, the second set of strain gauges are mounted along another designated parameter. There are also provided a third set of strain gauges mounted between the second set of strain gauges, for which the third set of strain gauges may be used for eliminating temperature influence from the strain gauge readings. The loads may then be derived through analysis of the force distributions detected by the strain gauges mounted on the hollow body-viA mathematical algorithm.
