<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting device which contributes to the simplification of a process for separating a flap from an edge of a bag body and inserting an article into the bag body and shortening of a time, and also to provide an apparatus for packaging the article. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus 1 for packaging the article includes an erection means 3, a header holding means 5, a cutting means 7, a bag opening means 9, a flap holding means 11, a feeding means 13, and a bag closing means 17. The cutting means 7 includes a pair of support shafts arranged below the flap 33 of the bag body 19 where the header 31 is held by the header holding means 5 and allowing shaft ends to be opposed to the bag body 19 and a drive source which rotates the pair of the support shafts in a direction in which edges of a pair of cutters protrude outward in the width direction of the bag body 19 from the lower part of the flap 33. The bag opening means 9 includes a lifting member which contacts with the flap 33 of the bag body 19 from its lower side and a lifting means which turns the lifting member in a rising direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
