摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an observation optical apparatus capable of reducing visual fatigue by performing super-multi eye display that presents a plurality of parallax images in a single eye of a viewer, enlarging a field angle, and keeping a low frame rate required for a display part by reducing the number of parallax images to be presented to the viewer. <P>SOLUTION: An observation optical apparatus (5) for entering a plurality of parallax images into one eye includes: aperture forming means (6) capable of changing a region where an aperture is formed; signal synchronizing means (4, 9, 7, and 8) for synchronizing image display means (1) that displays the plurality of parallax images in time series, with the aperture forming means; and control means (7) for controlling the region where the aperture of the aperture forming means is formed, on the basis of a signal from the signal synchronizing means.
