<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording apparatus that can form a high-definition and high-glitter image at a high speed in a recording medium where satisfactory glitter has not been obtained, and can enlarge the image. <P>SOLUTION: The inkjet recording apparatus 100 includes: a first line head 1 that ejects a polymerizable ink containing an active energy radiation-polymerizable compound but not containing a coloring agent onto the recording medium 10 to form an undercoat layer; a second line head 2 that ejects a glittering ink onto the undercoat layer to form the glittering image; a third line head 3 that ejects a coloring ink to form a color image; transport mechanisms 11, 12 that move the recording medium 10; an irradiation portion 20 that irradiates the undercoat layer with active energy radiation; and a heating portion 30 that dries the glittering ink.
