<p>APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR ROTATIONAL IMBALANCE REDUCTION An apparatus and method for reducing rotational imbalance of a machine is provided. The apparatus comprises a balancing plate, a balancing mass, a driving device and a testing device. The balancing plate is to attach to a rotational part of the machine, and has at least one circular race coupled thereto. The balancing mass is moveably disposed in the circular race. The testing device is to provided for detecting the rotational imbalance of the machine, and determining an equilibrium position of the rotational imbalance. The driving device is disposed adjacent to the balancing plate for generating an external force to move the balancing mass along the circular race. When the balancing mass is moved toward the equilibrium location, the imbalance can be reduced.</p> |
