摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce orthogonal components for incorporating alkynyl amino acids into a growing polypeptide chain in response to a selector codon, e.g., an amber stop codon, a four or more base codon, etc., in vivo or in vitro. <P>SOLUTION: A eubacterial cell contains a first orthogonal aminoacyl-tRNA synthetase (O-RS) that functions in the cell, wherein the O-RS preferentially aminoacylates a first orthogonal tRNA (O-tRNA) with a first unnatural amino acid that is an alkynyl amino acid. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
