ROLL FOR MELT EXTRUSION MOLDING SHAPING, ROLL ASSEMBLY FOR MELT EXTRUSION MOLDING SHAPING, AND MELT EXTRUSION MOLDING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roll for melt extrusion molding shaping, for molding a sheet molding so as to prevent properties from being different between a central portion and an end portion by using an extrusion molding method.

SOLUTION: The metallic roll 10 for melt extrusion molding shaping has a heating medium flow passage 13 formed therein, and is used for extrusion molding of thermoplastic resin. The roll 10 comprises an inner cylinder 21 and an outer cylinder 22 surrounding the inner cylinder 21. A continuous partition wall 23 spirally extending along the axis of the roll 10 is installed in a clearance 23 formed between an outer face 21A of the inner cylinder 21 and an inner face 22A of the outer cylinder 22. The heating medium flow passage 13 is formed of the outer face 21A of the inner cylinder 21, the inner face 22A of the outer cylinder 22 and the partition wall 23. Wall thickness of the outer cylinder 22 is monotonously reduced to a predetermined region starting from a predetermined position 12, from a roll end portion 11 toward a roll central portion.
