<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a showcase system, capable of continuously managing showcases included in a group if a showcase set to be master equipment becomes faulty. <P>SOLUTION: The showcase system allows a showcase 3 set to be master equipment to manage showcases 3 included in the group. The showcase 3 set to be the master equipment is connected to a communication network WN having a centralized management controller 1 connected thereto, so that the centralized management controller 1 is allowed to integrally manage a plurality of showcases 3. One showcase 3 different from the showcase 3 set to be the master equipment is set to be ordinary slave equipment, on a group-by-group basis. The showcase 3 set to be the ordinary slave equipment is connected to the communication network WN connecting to the centralized management controller 1.
