<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid to the possible extent an increased stroke sound of a key switch, particularly having a long key cap and a wire stabilizer, and the drop of the wire stabilizer due to a long time use. <P>SOLUTION: The key switch includes: a key cap 300 composed of a synthetic resin; a wire stabilizer 400 for supporting the vertical motion of the key cap; and a plurality of fitting claws each having a wire stabilizer holding groove and formed in the vicinity of the edge side of a key cap rear surface. The fitting claws at least include: first fitting claws 320, 330 having first wire stabilizer grooves that are open to a direction with a first predetermined angle relative to a key cap surface; and a second fitting claw 310 having a second wire stabilizer groove that is open to a direction with a second predetermined angle, different from the first predetermined angle, relative to the key cap surface.
