<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To select a cache distribution device to which a cache is distributed from a cache distribution server, so that data distribution from the cache distribution device to a communication terminal device can be efficiently performed. <P>SOLUTION: An optimization device provided in a communication system which includes a plurality of communication devices and transmits/receives content data distributed to a cache distribution device from a cache distribution server between the communication devices through peer-to-peer communication, performs the steps of: acquiring a value showing a frequency of requests for downloading to a communication device, for each of the communication devices; selecting a communication device with a high frequency as the cache distribution device; generating optimization information showing the selection result; and transmitting the optimization information to the cache distribution server which distributes the content data to the communication device selected as the cache distribution device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
