<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner equipped with a discharging unit being compact and easy to clean. <P>SOLUTION: The air conditioner includes a discharging unit 201. The discharging unit 201 has a positive electrode 231 and a negative electrode 232 with a potential difference between them and a casing 210 and discharges between the electrodes 231 and 232. The casing 210 has the first part 211 and the second part 212: the first part 211 holds the positive electrode 231; and the second part 212 holds the negative electrode 232. The first part 211 and the second part 212 are connected together through a hinging mechanism 213. The positive electrode 231 is protruded to the space formed by the second part 212 so as to be positioned at a distance suitable for discharging from the negative electrode 232 with the hinging mechanism 213 closed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
