The present invention provides various novel DNA polymerases, namely: a DNA polymerase having an amino acid sequence in which the No. 651 arginine in the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO: 12 is substituted by an amino acid with a negatively charged side chain, preferably aspartic acid or glutamic acid, more preferably glutamic acid; and a DNA polymerase having an amino acid sequence in which the No. 653 proline in the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO: 14 is substituted by an amino acid with a negatively charged side chain, preferably aspartic acid or glutamic acid, more preferably glutamic acid. |
