Disclosed are a method and device for processing channel state information (CSI). The method is applied at the user equipment (UE) side, comprising: receiving high-level configuration signaling, the high-level configuration signaling comprising multiple pieces of power information corresponding to a channel state information - reference symbol (CSI-RS) port subset; using the CSI-RS to perform channel measurement, to obtain a measurement result; determining the CSI by using the measurement result and the power information and reporting same. The present invention solves the problem of the low CSI accuracy in the prior art due to that the UE fails to adapt to the large difference between transmit power of different transmitting nodes, thereby preventing the system performance from being reduced by the problem.
