<p>Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, are described for zooming on multiple digital image portions. In one aspect, methods include the actions of concurrently displaying a plurality of digital images in respective panels of a graphical user interface. The methods further include the actions of receiving user input requesting to zoom onto faces depicted in the digital images, where the faces include either human faces or animal faces. In response to receiving the user input and for each of the plurality of digital images, the methods include the actions of obtaining a set of tiles such that each of the tiles bounds a face depicted in the image. In addition, the methods include the actions of switching from concurrently displaying the plurality of digital images to concurrently displaying the generated sets of tiles in the respective panels, such that each of the sets of tiles replaces a digital image for which the set of tiles was obtained.</p> |
