PURPOSE: A system and method for conditional access setting of digital multimedia broadcasting are provided to prevent the reception of a new MOT(Multimedia Object Transfer) object by exchanging a control word prior to the reception of the MOT object when the control word is supposed to be exchanged according to a time period. CONSTITUTION: A system for conditional access setting of digital multimedia broadcasting comprises: a data encoder(100) which configures an MOT object which is a target for conditional reception to request from a scrambler(200) the scrambling for the configured MOT object; the scrambler which performs scrambling for the MOT object by generating a CW(Control Word) for the scrambling according to the scrambling request received from the data encoder; and a conditional reception server(300) which generates an ECM(Entitlement Control Message) including the CW and an AC(Access Criteria). |
