<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic component which inhibits deformation of a coil during manufacturing, and to provide a manufacturing method of the electronic component. <P>SOLUTION: A body 12 is made of an insulation material, has a rectangular parallelepiped shape, and has an upper surface S1, a bottom surface S2, an end surface S3, S4; and side surfaces S5, S6. Lead out parts 18a, 18b are respectively exposed from the body 12 on the end surfaces S3, S4 and extend between the side surfaces S5 and S6. A coil part 20 connects the lead out parts 18a, 18b with each other in the body 12.
