<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce an operation range of isolating a boiler feed-water pump when performing maintenance on a booster feed-water pump, and to save time and the workforce. <P>SOLUTION: While the boiler feed-water pump 52 is subjected to turning and steam sealing, and then the interior of the boiler feed-water pump 52 is supplied with sealing water from a condenser 40, a water flow from the outlet side of the boiler feed-water pump 52 and a water flow from the inlet side of the boiler feed-water pump 52 are blocked.
