<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a practical device for stably and continuously producing a carbon nanotube continuous fiber. <P>SOLUTION: A device for producing a carbon nanotube continuous fiber comprises: a tubular reactor 2 for continuously synthesizing a carbon nanotube from a carbon source, a catalyst and a carrier gas by use of flow gas phase CVD method; a cylindrical body 12 having an inner diameter within a range of 0.1-0.5 times as large as that of the tubular reactor, the cylindrical body being disposed downstream the tubular reactor; a pair of belt nip twisters 410 for twisting and feeding a sliver of carbon nanotube while sandwiching the sliver, which is continuously drawn from the tubular reactor; and a winding device 500 for continuously winding up the carbon nanotube continuous fiber thus obtained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
