PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drying control system or the like reducing energy consumed by a drying device.

SOLUTION: This drying control system 1 comprises: an air supply fan 23 sending hot air 35 from a heat exchanger 23 to a drying device 81 of a gravure printing machine 10; an air supply damper 51 provided at piping 92 sending an outside air 33 to the heat exchanger 23; piping 95 provided with a damper 55 and piping 96 provided with a return exhaust damper 53, for returning exhaust from the drying device 81 to the heat exchanger 23 as return exhaust 59; an exhaust damper 57 provided at piping 94 sending the exhaust from the drying device 81 to the outside; and a control device 2 closing the air supply damper 51 and the exhaust damper 57 when it is detected that printing is not performed during an operation of an air supply fan 21.
