<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer with a paper residual amount indicating function. <P>SOLUTION: The printer with the paper residual amount indicating function includes a case, a paper storage box, a paper amount measuring mechanism, and an indicating mechanism. The paper amount measuring mechanism is rotatably connected to the case, and one end of the paper amount measuring mechanism abuts on the upper face of printing paper, while the other end is fixedly connected to one end of the indicating mechanism. The other end of the indicating mechanism is exposed from the outer surface of the paper storage box. When one end of the paper amount measuring mechanism is rotated, the other end of the paper amount measuring mechanism, and the indicating mechanism are interlocked with the rotation to cause the position change of the other end of the indicating mechanism exposed from the outer surface of the paper storage box.
