<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid leakage prevention device of a storage battery capable of preventing leakage of an electrolytic solution in the battery case even in the case the storage battery falls down to the state it becomes upside down vertically reversed. <P>SOLUTION: A recessed part 15 corresponding to a cell chamber 9 in the battery case 1 is formed at the bottom part of a lid 2 of a double-lid structure of which the inside is made an exhaust route 22 of gas, and the upper surrounding of this recessed part 15 is made an exhaust chamber 25 by surrounding by barrier ribs 20, 21, and this exhaust chamber 25 is connected to the exhaust route 22 through a ventilation part 26, and a gas exhaust tube 16 which is communicated with the cell chamber 9 and protrudes at a prescribed height from the bottom of the recessed part 15 is formed at the bottom of the recessed part 15. The exhaust chamber 25 is zoned into a first partition room 31 and a second partition room 32 by a partition wall 27, and a communication part 34 which communicates the first partition room 31 with the second partition room 32 is installed at the lower part of the partition wall 27 and at the position lower than the upper end level of the gas exhaust tube 16. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
