PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition that can prevent (the formation of) human malodor, a compound useful for this composition and the products including the compound or the composition. SOLUTION: The composition for applying on the human skin includes, in cosmetically permissible carrier, a human malodor-preventing agent selected at least one of compound represented by formula I (wherein X is alkyl, cycloalkyl, alkenyl, cycloalkenyl or aryl wherein these groups may include N, O, S or the like, may be substituted with cycloalkyl or the like and may include COOH or the like, Y is H or X, Z is O or S, n is 0 or 1) and in the compounds having H as Y, namely its alkali salts, alkaline earth salts, aluminum salts, or optionally selected ammonium salts in an amount that can inhibit, suppress or alleviate the human malodor.
