PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for changing a set value of a game machine, in which changing operation of a set value can be performed without drastic change in specifications of the game machine and sufficient security measures are taken. SOLUTION: The system for changing the set value includes a management device in the hall and an IC card 41 for setting which changes the set value of each slot machine 1. The management device in the hall is provided with a set value storage part for storing the set value of each slot machine 1 and a set value writer for executing processing to write the set value of each slot machine 1 to a set value storage part 43 for setting by receiving the IC card 41 for setting. Each slot machine 1 reads the set value stored in the IC card 41 for setting by receiving the IC card 41 for setting and, on the basis of the read set value, executes change processing of the set value. Also, when the change processing of the set value is performed, a game machine ID is transmitted as a signal to notify the management device in the hall that the set processing has been performed.
