PURPOSE: A method of peeling skin of spring onions is provided to prevent damage of the spring onions when peeling the root and unnecessary leaves, and to reset an apparatus according to the thickness of the spring onion. CONSTITUTION: A transfer conveyor is installed on a frame(150), and transfers spring onions from back to front. The transfer conveyor is composed of a green part transfer conveyor and a white part transfer conveyor. Anti-sagging conveyor parts(113,123) are equipped on the side of the white part transfer conveyor and the and green part transfer conveyor, respectively. A peeling part trims the spring onions while the spring onions are transferred. A pre-processing pre-processes the spring onions for easy trimming. A peeling nozzle for the white part(130) and a peeling nozzle for the green part trim the white and green parts of the spring onions, respectively. The pre-processing nozzle, the peeling nozzle for the white part, and the peeling nozzle for the green part are installed in the transferring direction of the spring onions. When the spring onions reach the front end of the transfer conveyor for the green part, the spring onions are inserted between transfer conveyors for the white part, and are supported and transferred. The green part of the spring onions is trimmed by the peeling nozzle for the green part, while the white part of the spring onions is trapped between the white part transfer conveyors. |
