PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide excellent printing with thermal heads even when a bankbook conveying means is shared as a conveying means for conveying thermal paper. SOLUTION: This printer includes: a thermal conveying means 5 for conveying thermal paper 4; the thermal heads 17, 18 printing the thermal paper 4 conveyed by the thermal conveying means 5; a cutting section 8 cutting the thermal paper 4 printed by the thermal heads 17, 18, into predetermined dimensions; the bankbook conveying means 10 conveying a bankbook T and used also as the conveying means for conveying the thermal paper 4 conveyed by the thermal conveying means 5; a dot head 9a printing the bankbook T conveyed by the bankbook conveying means 10; and a looseness forming section 13 absorbing the conveying speed difference between the thermal paper 4 and the bankbook T based on the resolution difference between the thermal heads 17, 18 and the dot head 9a.
