A curing composition, a color filter containing a colored pattern comprising the composition, a method for preparing the color filter, and a solid state image sensing device containing the color filter are provided to improve the sensitivity and storage stability of the composition and to enhance the adhesion to a substrate. A curing composition comprises a resin; an ethylenically unsaturated compound; and a photopolymerization initiator, wherein the resin is prepared by polymerizing a monomer having a dipole moment of 2.0 or more as a copolymerization component. Preferably the monomer having a dipole moment of 2.0 or more has at least one group selected from an ether, a cyano, an ester phosphate, a lactone, a urethane, an ester carbonate and an acetal group. |
