PURPOSE: A polarization system and a stereoscopic image display device are provided to enable a viewer to watch a stereoscopic image without considering a posture. CONSTITUTION: A first polarizing film(210) is arranged between a viewer and a light irradiated body. A second polarizing film(220) is arranged between the first polarizing film and the light irradiated body. A first phase difference film(230) is arranged between the first polarizing film and the second polarizing film. The first phase difference film delays a phase of light which penetrates the first polarizing film.
