PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display device is provided to improve an up and down view angle by suppressing the generation of 3D crosstalk on the rear of a liquid crystal panel. CONSTITUTION: A liquid crystal display device(201) in a polarized glasses type includes a first substrate(210), a second substrate(220), a first polarizing plate, a second polarizing plate, a backlight unit, and a patterned retarder(252). The first and the second substrates are separated from each other while facing each other. The first and the second polarizing plates are formed on each external surface of the first and the second substrates. The backlight unit is formed on the bottom of the first polarizing plate. The patterned retarder is formed on the top of the second polarizing plate. A liquid crystal panel(230) bonds the first and the second substrates to each other and includes a left eye horizontal pixel line and a right eye horizontal pixel line. |
