PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for manufacturing a fireproof admixture are provided to recycle waste, to minimize industrial waste, and to save the cost for disposal the industrial waste. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing a fireproof admixture comprises: a step of collecting and cutting broken articles of polyethylene foam(S10); a step of injecting carbon into cut article fragments(S20); a step of processing the fragments and preparing an ingot(S30); a step of pulverizing the ingot using a pulverizer(S40); and a step of processing the fragment of the pulverized ingot by a powder processor(S50).
