PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and method for re-liquefying BOG generated in a LNG storage tank, enabling to reduce the specific energy consumption for re-liquefying LNG-BOG or reduce re-liquefying pressure while securing the maintenance span of a heat exchanger of conventional one year or so. SOLUTION: In the device 100 for re-liquefying BOG generated in the LNG storage tank, LNG-BOG generated in the LNG storage tank is compressed by a compressor 4a and then guided into the heat exchanger 6, delivered LNG is guided from the LNG storage tank 1a to the heat exchanger 6, the LNG-BOG guided into the heat exchanger 6 by the delivered LNG is cooled and re-liquefied, and the re-liquefied LNG-BOG is temporarily stored in a drum 7, compressed by a compressing pump 8 and then delivered into a vaporizer 10. The device 100 for re-liquefying the BOG has a line 2c for introducing the LPG-BOG generated in the LPG storage tank 1b into the LNG-BOG before re-liquefied. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
