DECANNING MACHINE AND THE METHOD OF DEFECTED FUEL ROD FOR PRESSURIZED HEAVY WATER REACTOR

PURPOSE: A cutter for a defected fuel rod for a pressurized heavy water reactor and a method thereof are provided to cut a defected fuel rod without damage to a sintered body. CONSTITUTION: A worktable(110) fixes a defected fuel rod on the top. A moving table(120) horizontally moves according to the rotation of the forward and backward direction of a lead screw installed in a space of the worktable in a longitudinal direction. A base plate(130) is horizontally installed on the top of worktable in a longitudinal direction. The pressurization unit fixes the defected fuel rod inserted into the base plate. A controller controls the fixation of the worktable and the operation of a cutter.
