A shaft flange and a washing machine having the same are provided to decrease the aerodynamic noise while a spin basket is rotating as a back plate of the shaft flange is even. A washing machine comprises a spin basket, a motor rotating the spin basket, a shaft rotating with the motor and a shaft flange(40). The shaft flange connected in the spin basket comprises: a front panel(41) combined in the spin basket; a back plate(45) separated from the front panel in order to face the front panel; and a plurality of main reinforcing rib(48) extended between the front panel and back plate to the radial direction. |
