<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a branch pipe joint tool easily attached to the branch hole of a main pipe without requiring a plurality of members and reliably attached with sufficient strength. <P>SOLUTION: This branch pipe joint tool is provided with a cylindrical body 200 inserted into the branch hole formed in the outer wall of the main pipe and receiving a branch pipe 300. The cylindrical body 200 is provided with a flange portion 240 seated on the outer wall of the periphery of the branch hole, and a plurality of claw pieces 220, 230 abutting on the outer wall from the inside. The outer wall is sandwiched by the flange portion 240 and claw pieces 220, 230, thereby fixing the cylindrical body 200 to the main pipe. The flange portion 240 is integrally formed in order to be overhung from the outer wall of the cylindrical body 200. At least one claw piece 220 of the plurality of claw pieces 220, 230 is rotatably journalled to the cylindrical body 200, and also the end of the claw piece 220 is overhung outward from the lower end of the cylindrical body 200 when rotated and abuts on the periphery of the branch hole from the inside. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
